With your help, it will! Web education seems to be a hot topic for SXSWi 2010. There are 2200 proposals for panels this year and 51 of these proposed panels have the word “education” within their title or description. There are only 300 panel slots available and it’s largely up to voters to determine what fills these 300 slots.

I have a hero. His name is Jeff Brown. Jeff, or Mr. Brown, as his students call him, is a web educator at Damascus High School in Damascus, Maryland where he creates opportunities for his students that are so cool that he actually makes me wish I were in high school again.
Jeff is a teacher in Montgomery County Public Schools, MD where he teaches advanced web tools, programming, and website development at Damascus High School in Damascus, MD.
