Ben Friedman has been a partner at Iconologic since 2000. Iconologic is a full-service Brand Design firm working with a diverse roster of local and international companies focused on establishing profound connections with their customers. Highlights include leading the creation of one of the world's largest Web sites (the official site for the Athens 2004 Olympic Games) and helping to diversify the economy of a country (The Republic of Trinidad & Tobago) away from its dependence on energy.

In addition to his “normal” partner duties, he oversees the firm's technological operations and management, as well as the development of all client interactive projects, from strategy to final programming.

Friedman joined Iconologic in 2000 when his former firm, a startup Web development shop called BrainSandwich, merged with Copeland Hirthler design + communications.

Previously, Friedman worked at Security First Technologies (now S1 Corp.), the world's first Internet bank. As the lead user interface developer on its next generation software, Friedman was engaged in defining the criteria and managing the development, creation and implementation of the graphical user interface for the company's banking products.

Friedman has also created several interactive ventures, including a stock market indexing site that he eventually sold to a publicly traded company, and a B2C e-commerce site that markets officially licensed collegiate merchandise.
